About The Position

Responsible for scheduling and assisting cage/club representatives to ensure smooth operation of the cage/club on assigned shift.

Requirements

  • Must be experienced in and knowledgeable of craps.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
  • The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
  • The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide
  • The ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • The availability to work all shifts.
  • The ability to work in a fast–paced environment and stressful situations.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • The ability to verify the right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven dealer knowledge and experience on multiple games will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with training and developing department staff, as assigned
  • Provide direction to assigned staff and oversee projects assigned to staff
  • Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Oversees the operation on a craps table while maintaining integrity and an appropriate pace of the game.
  • Verifies accuracy of payouts while following Title 31 guidelines.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork and manages chip and dice inventory for craps table.
  • Protects and controls specific game assigned.
  • Conducts the games in accordance with policies and procedures, handles player transactions and notifies Cage & Club Supervisor of any irregularities.
  • Advises Cage & Club Supervisor of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
  • Informs Cage & Club Supervisor or other games personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
  • Understands and promotes departmental and property-wide promotions.
  • Maintains current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Verifies even exchanges when there is a variance.
  • Makes schedules on a given shift.
  • Resolves variances on a given shift.
  • All other duties as assigned.
