About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

6 points or less with no suspensions in last 12 months will be considered.
New hires must complete their initial 90-day probationary period.
Willing and able to monitor all equipment to ensure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Willing and able to assist the supervisor with day-to-day tasks to ensure proper product flow, product quality, yield, and labor efficiency.
Willing and able to learn all positions in the department to assist with team member training.
Willing and able to have good communication and organizational skills and be able to perform tasks with limited supervision.
Able and willing to wear all proper safety equipment.
Willing to work overtime and weekends, if required.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Monitor all equipment to ensure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Assist the supervisor with day-to-day tasks to ensure proper product flow, product quality, yield, and labor efficiency.
Learn all positions in the department to assist with team member training.
Perform data entry and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Communicate and organize tasks with limited supervision.
Wear all proper safety equipment.
Work overtime and weekends, if required.
