About The Position

The Lead Case Ready L004 at the Goodlettsville Case Ready Plant assists the Supervisor in coordinating the department’s daily responsibilities. The role ensures that the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to team members and carried out correctly and on time. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at $24.00 per hour. This position is intended for team members currently working at this facility or complex; team members at other Tyson facilities should express interest through their local HR Partner. Applicants must have 6 points or less and no suspensions in the last 12 months. New hires must complete their initial 90-day probationary period. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, and wear required safety equipment. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Must be willing and able to assist with daily department tasks and learn all positions in the department.

Responsibilities

Monitor equipment to ensure it is working properly and notify the Supervisor of needed maintenance, while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures.
Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day tasks to ensure proper product flow, product quality, yield, and labor efficiency.
Learn all positions in the department to assist with team member training.
Perform data entry and other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Communicate and organize effectively and perform tasks with limited supervision.
Wear all required safety equipment.
Work overtime and weekends if required.
