About The Position

House Doctors is a nationwide professional handyman and home improvements company specializing in a variety of jobs from handyman repairs to full remodels. This St Peters location has been servicing residential and commercial customers in the St Charles County, West County and St Louis County areas for 18+ years, with an A+ reputation. This position is for highly organized and customer-centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required. Remodel and various construction skills are great for what we do. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast-growing company. Requirements

  • 7 to 10+ years experience in residential construction, home improvement & remodeling industries.
  • Advanced skills in various trades: carpentry (rough, finish/trim), drywall, painting, flooring, tile, light plumbing and electrical. (Siding, roofing, deck, and fence skills are a plus).
  • Knowledgeable about residential or commercial construction principle, processes and materials.
  • Successful in high performance and fast paced teams.
  • Professional and excellent work ethic.
  • Highly dependable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills.
  • Proven result in leading a highly effective team to achieve company goals.
  • Detail oriented, result driven and a good problem solver.
  • Ability to work with mobile app to manage daily jobs.
  • Ability to safely perform physical work, work with ladders, and lift 50 lbs
  • Valid Drivers License and good driving record is required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Remodel and various construction skills are great for what we do.
  • Siding, roofing, deck, and fence skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various home repair and remodel jobs. Some light commercial work.
  • Lead the on-site team to deliver excellent quality of work and customer services.
  • Run jobsite and problem solve to ensure jobs run on time, on budget.
  • Lead and coach other team members to grow with the company.
  • Effectively communicate among field, office, vendors and customers so all are on the same page.
  • Lead/Assist in managing job materials, tasks and daily work schedule.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site, company shop and vehicles.
  • Assist in estimating and other business tasks as needed.
  • Work with management, operations, sales and office teams to achieve team and company goals.
