Requirements

5+ years carpentry experience and knowledge of remodeling
Proficiency in all trades, including frame to finish
Strong work ethic and take pride in all work
Ability to work efficiently without wasting materials
Possessing reliable transportation and tools
Strong communication skills
Ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and tools of the trade required
Willing to pass a criminal background check in compliance with regulations

Responsibilities

Reading blueprints, plans, specs and instructions
Using hand and power tools
Rough framing of walls, ceilings, flooring and roofs
Finish carpentry including hanging crown moldings, installing window/door casings and baseboards, installing fixtures and hardware, cabinet installation
Shoring erection, repair/replacement of patios, decks, doors, cabinets, appliances and necessary demolition
May also include drywall, patching, and painting
Checking the accuracy of completed work in accordance with the plans
Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances
Supervising crews and subs on site
