Hurst Construction builds and remodels architecturally significant, design-driven homes where craftsmanship is everything. This is a "bags-on" tactical team lead role, serving as the go-to person in the field for executing a scope of work correctly. The Lead Carpenter takes an assigned scope from the Project Manager, leads a small crew (1–4), and builds it alongside them. This role is a step above field technicians and reports to the Project Manager. While the PM owns the project's schedule, budget, client relations, design coordination, and change orders, the Lead Carpenter owns the execution: planning and sequencing their scope, leading and developing their crew, and ensuring the quality and design intent are maintained down to the details. This position is a clear step on the path to becoming a Project Manager.
