About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our team. The Lead Caregiver provides high-quality personal care to clients while also supporting and guiding other caregivers to ensure consistent, safe, and professional care. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to improving the lives of those we serve.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification or a minimum of 5 years of caregiver experience
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (must drive)
- Flexibility to work throughout both Baltimore City and Baltimore County
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to support clients and caregivers in the field
- English (Required)
Nice To Haves
- CMT certification preferred
- Caregiving: 5 (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and companionship.
- Administer or assist with medications as directed.
- Monitor clients’ health conditions and report any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Train, mentor, and support new caregivers.
- Ensure care plans are followed accurately and updated when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and services provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
