About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team in the Portland, Oregon area. We are hiring a LEAD Female Caregiver who can provide hands-on assistance, is comfortable driving clients, has a flexible schedule, and can work with clients of all genders, as well as animals. The ideal candidate is over 21 years old and committed to improving the lives of the clients we serve, meeting our high standards of care.

Requirements

At least two years of professional caregiver experience is highly preferred.
Ability to lift, move, or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Must have proof of current auto insurance.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
Must be reliable and dependable.
Must be over the age of 21.

Nice To Haves

CNA and HCA certifications are preferred.
Experience working with men, women, and animals.
Willingness to purchase tobacco and alcohol for clients.

Responsibilities

Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
Following each client's Care Plan.
