About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our team. This is an out-in-the-field position where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our seniors. We are an honest agency that values our workers and has been providing services for nearly 17 years. We offer steady work, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth. As a Lead Caregiver, you will also have the opportunity to train other caregivers.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Possess a valid Social Security card.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Have auto insurance.
Own a reliable car to drive clients' homes throughout our ENTIRE territory.
Possess caregiver or CNA level skills to bath and assist clients with transfers.
Experience with Hoyer lifts and dementia clients.
Ability to work 40+ hours per week during daytime hours, including every other weekend.
Willingness to work with all types of clients.
Must be able to meet all listed qualifications to apply.

Nice To Haves

LEAD Caregiver or CNA experience.
Ability to drive your car over our territory (reimbursement given) including from Cicero to Oswego, Warrenville to Bolingbrook/Joliet.

Responsibilities

Perform high skill pivot transfers, bed care, hoyer lift, use gait belt, give showers, and manage dressing assistance.
Manage and remain calm during client behaviors, especially those related to dementia.
Drive your car over our territory (reimbursement provided) including from Cicero to Oswego, Warrenville to Bolingbrook/Joliet.
Communicate in a professional manner using excellent English skills.
Train other caregivers to be as great as you are.
Provide care for clients in their homes, assisted living, or senior living community settings.
