About The Position
Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Tech assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities in the department. The Lead Tech is technically and/or clinically competent, demonstrates and adheres to department standards, and serves as an administrative, clinical and/or technical resource to department staff.
Requirements
- Coursework/Training and Graduate of a program in Radiology Imaging Technologist approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification Upon hire.
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire.
- 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist.
- 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
Nice To Haves
- Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Upon hire.
- Supervisory experience.
