About The Position

This role involves performing active intra-procedural monitoring and calculations, identifying critical condition changes, anticipating case and physician needs, adapting quickly during procedures, consulting on product selection and inventory management, assisting with room setup, patient transport, and post-procedure cleanup. It also includes serving as a functional resource by leading staff orientation, training, and coaching, providing input on performance evaluations, and maintaining compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date OR Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date OR Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Perform active intra-procedural monitoring and calculations (heart rate, rhythm, cardiac output, shunting).
  • Rapidly identify and communicate critical condition changes to the physician and team.
  • Anticipate case and physician needs in real time, adapting quickly during procedures.
  • Consult with leadership on product selection and inventory management.
  • Assist with room setup, patient transport, and post-procedure cleanup, ensuring strict safety and infection control.
  • Educate patients on insertion site care, activity guidelines, and warning signs.
  • Serve as a functional resource by leading staff orientation, training, and coaching.
  • Provide input on performance evaluations.
  • Maintain strict compliance with safety procedures.
