About The Position

Trillium Health Partners is seeking a Lead, Business Transformation to play a critical role in advancing enterprise-wide modernization and value realization across corporate and enabling functions. Reporting to the Director of Strategy Management Office, this role provides leadership, oversight, and advisory support for complex business transformation initiatives that span multiple functions and stakeholders. This position is accountable for shaping, guiding, and leading the delivery of a portfolio of middle and Backoffice transformation initiatives, ensuring they are strategically aligned, well-governed, and focused on measurable value realization. This Corporate Lead acts as a trusted partner to functional leaders and executive sponsors, translating strategic priorities into executable transformation roadmaps while balancing operational continuity, regulatory requirements, and systemwide impacts on clinical and frontline operations. This role is suited for a seasoned transformation professional who brings strong judgment, influence, and enterprise perspective, and who can operate effectively in a complex, matrixed healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) required
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in business transformation, project delivery, or management consulting
  • 4+ years leading complex initiatives within a hospital, healthcare system, or similarly complex public sector environment
  • Demonstrated experience delivering middle / back-office technology enabled transformation initiatives (e.g., ERP platforms / AI orchestration tools across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle, Digital/IT)
  • Demonstrated people/team leadership skills
  • Experience working in matrixed environments with multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of corporate functions and complex operating environments
  • Proven ability to lead and influence without direct authority
  • Sound judgment and comfort operating at an enterprise level
  • Excellent executive level communication, synthesis, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, financial, and value realization acumen
  • Proficiency with enterprise delivery and collaboration tools

  • Experience with forward deployed engineers considered an asset
  • Experience in management consulting or enterprise transformation roles considered an asset
  • PMP strongly preferred
  • Lean Six AIM Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) considered an asset
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci) considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for complex, crossfunctional business transformation initiatives, with a primary focus on middle and Backoffice functions (e.g., Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle, Digital Health, IT, and Corporate Services).
  • Lead the translation of strategic priorities, approved business cases, and improvement opportunities into integrated transformation roadmaps and delivery approaches.
  • Serve as a thought partner to functional and executive leaders on operating model design, process standardization, and opportunities for digital enablement and automation.
  • Ensure transformation initiatives are designed with consideration for downstream impacts on clinical, operational, and frontline environments.
  • Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities, sequencing, and capacity.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate delivery structures, milestones, and performance measures to support disciplined execution.
  • Provide oversight, guidance and coaching to assigned project team members and workstreams, focusing on outcomes, risk mitigation, and interdependency management.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks related to service continuity, financial controls, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner closely with senior functional leaders to codesign solutions that are practical, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions where priorities, resources, and dependencies intersect, supporting informed and timely decision-making.
  • Act as a connector between strategy, operations, and enabling functions to ensure coherence across initiatives.
  • Embed structured change management and adoption practices across transformation initiatives.
  • Provide leadership on engagement, communication, and readiness strategies to support sustainable implementation.
  • Support leaders and managers in planning for long-term sustainment of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Support established governance forums, including steering committees and executive oversight bodies.
  • Prepare clear, concise executive-level reporting on progress, risks, issues, and benefits realization.
  • Develop high-quality analysis and decision support materials to enable effective executive sponsorship and oversight.
  • Lead the development of business cases and value hypotheses for business transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance to define, track, and report on costs, savings, productivity improvements, and other defined benefits.
  • Monitor postimplementation outcomes to assess realization of intended value and inform continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maturation of enterprise transformation and delivery practices within the organization.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and informal mentorship to project managers, consultants, and analysts.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, standardization, and data-driven decision-making across corporate functions.
