About The Position

As a Lead Analyst - Business Systems you will act independently under consultative direction. Formulate, define, and document system/applications objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex systems/applications that support the actuarial valuations and/or investments divisions. Prepare detailed specifications from which system/applications will be developed and maintained.

Requirements

  • 8 -10+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or equivalent experience.
  • High Collaborative team skills - as a trusted leader, leadership must be able to rely-upon this is a lead role providing oversight and guidance to team.
  • Participates in leadership-initiated vendor engagement to aid in resolution of contract personnel issues.
  • Ability to forge and maintain strong business partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Performs the formulation, definition, and documentation of systems/application scope and objectives working closely with systems architecture, development and engineering teams.
  • Works on highly complex systems/applications and prepares detailed specifications from which system/applications will be developed and maintained.
  • Performs key portions of the system development lifecycle including gathering, documenting and analyzing requirements for highly complex, multi-platform applications.
  • Maintains documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics.
  • Performs highly complex system/application testing to ensure delivery meets business and end-user expectations.
  • Provides day to day support to existing applications and troubleshoots system/applications performance issues as they arise.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between key business area and systems teams, and communicates project feasibility, status and issues to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key functional stakeholders and team, to facilitate the creation of project plans in accordance with business ranked priorities.
