About The Position

The Lead Business Analyst will support analysis cross-functionally across the Aerospace Group working with sales, customer service, operations, and supply chain. The analyst will work with the business analytics manager to provide insights on internal performance involving financial and operational performance of the business. The individual will support the business by ensuring timely and astute analytics and will support the front-end organization to become the industry’s best-in-class by improving existing processes and establishing new tools in line with Eaton Business System. The role will also support developing new dashboards, tools and models and drive towards predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve business performance and generate revenue. The role will involve finding ways to improve data availability to key stakeholders to make critical business decisions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3)+ years of professional experience within a relevant data analystics role.
  • Three (3)+ years of professional experince with Excel, including advanced formula creation, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience with data analytics, data interpretation utilizing regression and statistical models.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and within the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates currently residing within 70 miles of Eaton's Facilitiy in Beachwood (OH), Glenolden (PA), Fort Worth (TX), or Irvine (CA) will be considered. Active-Duty military service memeber candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of five years of professional data analysis experience within the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Proficiency in Azure and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

  • Support business operational reviews and sales growth initiatives by providing data analytics support.
  • Lead analytics projects from concept to deployment: scoping/requirements, stakeholder alignment, development, testing, and rollout.
  • Build and maintain new dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI and Azure to improve data availability to business users.
  • Support ad hoc analytics requirements involving financial, commercial, and operational performance.
  • Establish predictive models to improve sales, revenue, and operational performance; help drive process improvement initiatives with data insights.
  • Mentor analysts and power users on best practices for analytics, dashboard design, and KPI governance
  • Create reusable templates, data dictionaries, and training materials to strengthen analytical maturity across the organization
  • Support digital IT initiatives regarding data and analytics.
