About The Position

The Lead Business Analyst will maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates on project progress, gathering feedback, and managing expectations to ensure successful project outcomes. This role involves participating in the testing and validation of new applications to ensure they meet documented requirements and are defect-free, working closely with developers to resolve issues and make necessary adjustments. The Lead Business Analyst will also identify opportunities for process improvements, contribute to the enhancement of application development methodologies, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the team's practices remain cutting-edge.

Requirements

• Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI tools
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing strategies to resolve issues efficiently
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and reporting
• Ability to plan and develop systems and procedures to improve operating quality and efficiency of department in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot issues utilizing creative and critical thinking skills
• Multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills
• Initiative-taking, strategic, and meticulous approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field
• 7 years of experience in a Fund Accounting or Transfer Agency role within the financial services industry
• Experience with report creation and data analysis
