This role involves analyzing business operations to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. The Lead Business Analyst will proactively produce executive-level verbal and written analyses, insights, and reports that support data-driven recommendations. The position requires applying statistical and experimental methods, including hypothesis testing, to develop data-supported insights. Responsibilities include extracting, integrating, and analyzing large datasets using SQL and related tools, and creating dashboards and visualizations in Power BI or similar platforms to report findings. The role also involves translating business requirements into analytical frameworks and preparing written analyses and recommendations, driving the importance of data collection and creating meaningful tests to measure incremental growth. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is key to supporting data-driven strategies and decisions. The Lead Business Analyst will lead projects from initiation to completion, independently and in collaboration with internal and external teams, and analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights that support business objectives. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning is also expected. Teleworking is permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, or another related field with significant analytical course work
5 years of experience in internal or external analytics consulting
Proficiency in SQL, including experience with complex datasets, data extraction, and data manipulation

Responsibilities

Analyze business operations to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.

Drive the importance of data collection and creating meaningful tests to measure incremental growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support data-driven strategies and decisions.
Lead projects from initiation to completion, independently and in collaboration with internal and external teams.
Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights that support business objectives.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
