About The Position

The Lead Business Analyst, Technology will liaise with Business SMEs to elaborate on business requirements for regulatory reporting and credit risk management. This role involves defining Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Technical Design Documents. The analyst will design Use Cases, Flow Charts, Data Flow Diagrams, and Dashboards. A key part of the role is analyzing and profiling data using tools like Oracle SQL Developer, MS SQL Server, or AWS Redshift to develop data sourcing strategies. The position also involves defining logical database design, fact/dimension table structures, reporting process metadata, and ETL processes. The Lead Business Analyst will define system strategy, develop system requirements, design prototypes, and support technology solution implementations to ensure seamless data integration between financial applications (Peoplesoft, Financial Application Hub, One Stream, AXIOM) using Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) as the Financial Datawarehouse. Responsibilities include analyzing OFSAA standard business rules, performing fit-gap analysis, defining data quality rules, data governance standards, and Master Data Management using Ab Initio. The role requires analyzing data elements for reporting, defining data mapping and lineage documents, and working with Oracle to manage custom data attribute changes. The analyst will assess current state lineage and business rules to identify necessary changes and customizations for Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) configurations. Support is required for OFSAA General Ledger (GL) Reconciliation Framework configuration and OFSAA Loan Loss Forecasting and Provisioning (LLFP) application configuration. The position involves supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), partnering with team members to develop project schedules and plans using agile and waterfall methodologies, and collaborating with technology partners to automate processes on OFSAA and OAS platforms. Finally, the role includes defining user manuals and training business users on applications and functionalities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems or Computer Science
Five (5) years of experience in any occupation with development, information technology experience, or related.

OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications) with knowledge of OFSAA GL (General Ledger) Reconciliation Framework

OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) Reporting
Oracle SQL (Structured Query Language)

Responsibilities

Liaise with the Business SMEs to elaborate on business requirements for regulatory reporting and credit risk management and Define Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Define Functional Specification and Technical Design Documents to break down requirements in Technology requirements.
Design Use Cases, Flow Charts, Data Flow Diagrams and Dash Boards to meet business requirements.
Analyze and profile data using Oracle SQL Developer, MS SQL Server or AWS Redshift based on the source of data to develop strategies to suffice the data sourcing needs.
Define logical database design, fact/dimension table structure, reporting process metadata, and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes.
Define system strategy, develop system requirements, design prototypes and support technology solution implementations to achieve seamless data integration between various financial applications (Peoplesoft, Financial Application Hub, One Stream, AXIOM) to use Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) as Financial Datawarehouse.
Analyze Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) standard business rules and functionalities and perform fit-gap analysis to align to the functional and non-functional business requirements.
Define data quality rules, data governance standards and Master Data Management (using Ab Initio) through data sourcing to processing to reporting.
Analyze data elements needed for reporting and define data mapping and data lineage documents to map source system data (key data attributes and dimensions) to the Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) standard data model.
Responsible for working with Oracle to raise Service Request for any custom data attribute change in data model.
Assess current state lineage and business rules to identify necessary changes and customizations on standard OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) configurations to align better to the reporting requirements.
Support with analysis of OFSAA General Ledger (GL) Reconciliation Framework and configure reconciliation business rules to perform reconciliation between enterprise operational and GL systems data.
Support the analysis of standard OFSAA LLFP (Loan Loss Forecasting and Provisioning) application and configure business metadata, data transformation and business rules for data processing.
Support the System Integration Test (SIT) and User acceptance test (UAT) to help access the requirement coverage of test cases to identify and log defects and propose corrective measures.
Partner with team members to develop project schedules, project plans, effort estimation for projects under agile and waterfall methodologies.
Collaborate with technology partners to help them understand business requirement and to help in automation processes on OFSAA and OAS platforms.
Define user manuals for end user applications and train business users to effectively operate applications and functionalities.
