About The Position

We are opening a brand-new pediatric therapy center and are looking for a Lead BCBA to help build it from the ground up. This role offers the opportunity to shape the clinical culture, develop the team, support the launch, and have a voice in the center's growth, while also advancing your own career. The Lead BCBA role is for someone who wants to remain deeply connected to clinical work while taking on leadership, mentorship, and ownership responsibilities. You will manage your own clients and make clinical decisions, while also developing BCBAs and RBTs, supporting families, contributing to center growth, and using data to optimize center performance. Our company values good clinical practice, as demonstrated by our VP of Clinical Quality and Training, Liza Bodner, who led the team that developed the Gracent Care Calculator, a peer-reviewed clinical tool. As a Lead BCBA, you will serve as a clinical resource, assisting newer BCBAs with challenging cases, mentoring RBTs and BCBA students, supporting onboarding and training, and collaborating with the Area Director to maintain high clinical standards. This role allows you to maintain direct clinical accountability while taking on additional responsibilities for the team and center. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide parent training, supervise RBTs/BTs, and engage in clinical work. Additionally, you will assist with hiring, mentor and onboard clinicians, support family tours and community outreach, and utilize data to identify areas for center improvement. For high performers, this role can lead to a Clinical Director position or open opportunities in new center development, supporting high-capacity centers, or providing leadership coverage for other centers. The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making, interdisciplinary collaboration with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers, and a unique Prep School program supporting children transitioning to traditional classrooms. You will also support center operations beyond your caseload, including marketing, community outreach, and ensuring a positive family experience.
