About The Position

Helping Hands Family (HHF) is seeking a Lead BCBA for their Woodbridge, NJ location. This role requires advanced clinical skill, reliability, and leadership potential, targeting an ABA expert who wants to share their expertise with a team of RBTs and other BCBAs. HHF differentiates itself through a supportive team of Clinical Directors, peer BCBAs, and Regional Directors of Quality offering mentorship and case consultation. They provide fully equipped clinics with specialized rooms and have RBT Rise and Fellowship programs to ensure RBTs are well-trained. The environment fosters learning, growth, and collaborative problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • State Licensure where required
  • 3 years of experience in ABA field
  • 2 years with BCBA license
  • ABA experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a clinic-based setting
  • Passion for ethical, client-centered ABA in a team-focused environment

Nice To Haves

  • RBT background a plus for new BCBAs

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to children with autism
  • Manage a caseload of up to 10 clients, completing 28 billable hours in a 40-hour week
  • Work with children ages 2–18, most under age 6
  • Supervise and develop up to 5 RBTs
  • Conduct assessments, write individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors, fellow BCBAs, and Regional Directors of Quality to troubleshoot cases and uphold best practices
  • Maintain ethical documentation and compliance with BACB and state guidelines
  • Mentor and support other BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical fellows
  • Develop management, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Participate in program development, quality improvement, and organizational projects (e.g., Pilot projects, Research projects, Poster presentations for internal and external conferences)
  • Influence clinic-wide practices, treatment quality, and outcomes beyond an individual caseload
  • Prepare for future roles such as Clinical Supervisor, Clinic Director, or Support Center Clinical Development roles
