The Benefits & Leaves of Absence Lead is responsible for the strategic administration and continuous improvement of WSB’s benefits programs and Leave of Absence programs. This position provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise on benefits plan design, compliance, vendor management, ensuring accurate data flow, efficient processes, and a positive employee experience across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration and HRIS management required.
  • Direct, hands on experience administering and configuring ADP Workforce Now, specifically the benefits and HRIS modules, required.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now required, including benefits, HRIS, and reporting modules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc).

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, or similar HR/benefits certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of health, wellness, retirement, and leave of absence programs, including open enrollment, life event changes, and eligibility management.
  • Serve as the point of contact for benefits vendors and brokers for issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and SECURE 2.0.
  • Partner with finance/payroll on benefits deductions and invoice reconciliation.
  • Partner with Director, HRIS & Total Rewards for annual open enrollment planning, communications, and system configuration.
  • Own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of ADP Workforce Now, including benefits enrollment setup, deduction codes, eligibility rules, and life event workflows.
  • Manage system integrations between ADP WFN and third-party vendors (carriers, retirement recordkeepers, payroll, ancillary benefit providers), ensuring accurate and timely data feeds.
  • Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and audits within ADP WFN to support HR Leadership and the business.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working directly with ADP support as needed.
  • Lead or support HRIS related projects, including module implementations, open enrollment configuration, and annual system updates.
  • Maintain data integrity through regular audits of employee records, benefits elections, and payroll interfaces.
  • Support compliance reporting, including ACA filings, Form 5500 preparation, and nondiscrimination testing.
  • May remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing computer based system administration work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
