Responsible for preparing and serving restaurant beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a timely and efficient manner, according to Company standards and in compliance with all laws and regulations, in an effort to provide exceptional hospitality to all guests. Leading bar team in regard to schedules, time & attendance, training, coaching & feedback. Creating and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, managing inventory, and all product ordering.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
  • Eye for detail and be committed to keeping the bar clean and organized
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperwork
  • Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally and understand that position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting and turning
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum (4) year in a restaurant establishment with bartending experience
  • Minimum (2) years managing processes and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare drink orders in collaboration with other bartenders, supervisors, and manager
  • Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company policies and procedures
  • Stock and re-stock bar items, manage inventory when items are running low
  • Responsible for monthly inventory and reporting
  • Manage team- coaching and feedback, ensure we are providing the utmost customer service
  • Leading by example and enforcing grooming and uniform (staff) standards and also bar (physical space) cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Support management in overseeing schedules, timecards, payroll, and staffing
  • Prepare checks, process credit cards, accept and make accurate change for cash payments
  • Accurately prepare sales and tip reports at shift’s end, deposit cash and credit card receipts
  • Obtain ServSafe or equivalent certification in accordance with Company F&B policy
  • Understand Company ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas
  • Set an example of professionalism in the workplace, adhering to schedules and Company policies and procedures; maintain a positive work environment
  • Adherence to Duties Checklist and completion of other duties as requested
