About The Position

The Lead Barista is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the espresso bar by consistently providing customers with prompt service, quality products while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Job duties include directing, training, and supervising staff to accomplish all daily tasks, including preparation of products, labor and inventory management of the espresso bar. Acts in accordance with the Missouri Food Code in regards to all processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Able to do simple math
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to follow directions and work together as a team player
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to move quickly
• Excellent customer service

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years experience in food services
• Previous barista or leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the espresso bar.
• Provide customers with prompt service and quality products.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
