About The Position
We are seeking a Low-Voltage Installation Technician who is trustworthy, eager to learn and grow, hands-on, and technically inclined. This role is ideal for someone who prefers fieldwork over desk work and has a curious nature about how things function. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime. The role involves working on projects located in the Fort Myers, FL area, reporting to Tim, the Owner & President.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- Pleasant disposition
- High EQ
- Control4 programming experience REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Savant/Crestron programming experience preferred
- Experience in AV Installation (Residential & Commercial)
- Experience in Security Installation
- Experience in Low-Voltage Cable Pulling
- Experience in Managed Services (MSP)
- Experience as an Electrician (HV or LV)
Responsibilities
- Programming (Control4 REQUIRED, Savant/Crestron preferred)
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Advanced understanding of networks
- Advanced troubleshooting of devices
