About The Position
We are the contractor of choice for residential system integration services with several local and regional home builders in the Northern Virginia area. Technicians will have broad responsibility to install home theatre systems, and service residential security alarm systems.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- A pleasant disposition
- High EQ
- Technically inclined
- Ability to lead teams
- Curiosity how things work
Nice To Haves
- Programming
- Knowledge of Control4 & Lutron products
Responsibilities
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading)
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Advanced understanding of networks
- Advanced troubleshooting of devices
- Activation and configuration of residential security alarm systems
- Lead and guide fellow technicians to help deliver our best projects
- Client communication, support, and training
- Ability to pass a background check to obtain Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) license
