About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a leading casino entertainment company in the United States. This role involves overseeing cashier duties in the absence of a cashier, assisting with food preparation on the food line, and maintaining daily employee workstation and break schedules. The Lead Attendant ensures prompt and courteous customer service, resolves customer issues, and monitors employee compliance with service standards. This position also involves ensuring adequate supplies and maintaining cleanliness of the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BHO). The Lead Attendant will greet and communicate with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, oversee the restaurant service operation during their assigned shift, and ensure employees are punctual, in proper uniform, and following correct service procedures. Additionally, they will coordinate cleaning and repairs of equipment, perform related administrative and reporting duties, and have the ability to void transactions and issue comps according to the comp matrix. Ensuring compliance with regulatory controls of the PGCB is also a key responsibility. Other duties may be requested.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of related experience preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee cashier duties in the absence of a cashier.
  • Assist as needed on the food line for food preparation.
  • Maintain daily employee workstation and break schedules.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service to customers and resolve customer issues.
  • Monitor employee compliance with established service standards.
  • Ensure supplies are adequate and FOH/BHO are clean and orderly.
  • Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Oversee the service operation of restaurant during assigned shift.
  • Ensure all employees are on time, in proper uniform and following correct service procedures by correcting deficiencies or discrepancies as they occur.
  • Coordinate cleaning and repairs of equipment.
  • Perform related administrative and reporting duties.
  • Ability to void transactions and issues comps in accordance with the comp matrix.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory controls of the PGCB.
