About The Position

This role coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth operations and communication, maintains a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all Walmart policies and procedures, and demonstrates an advanced understanding of production techniques and processes in an assigned area. The Lead Associate ensures quality standards are met and products are produced in accordance with company standards, and demonstrates a strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures. They manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and ordering materials, and accurately follow recipes and preparation instructions. The role involves effective time management for efficient and accurate completion of tasks, including preparing products for customer orders and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Lead Associate leads by example, providing guidance and support to other associates, and maintains accurate records and reports, including production reports, inventory levels, and employee performance. They comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Requirements

• 1 year's experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 1 year's experience working with hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.

• Effectively manages time to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks including preparing products for customer orders and maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Leads by example providing guidance and support to other associates as needed
• Maintains accurate records and reports including production reports inventory levels and employee performance
• Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback
