About The Position

Kidcreate Studio Wilmington is seeking a part-time Lead Art Teacher to bring messy, magical art classes to children ages 18 months to 12 years at various locations. The role involves instructing young artists, guiding their creativity, managing classroom activities, and assisting with setup and cleanup. The position requires travel to class locations within approximately 20-25 miles of Wilmington, MA.

Requirements

• Must be age 18 years or older
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle
• Must have at least 2 days of availability between 2:00 pm–7:00 pm, Monday–Friday and at least 1 weekend day 2x/month
• Comfortable working with kids ages 18 months–12 years
• Enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, and love art
• Able to pass a state background check and SORI/CORI check
• Must be able to start in late August

Responsibilities

• Instruct kids about key art concepts while guiding their creativity
• Hand out supplies and help keep materials organized
• Ensure classroom management so everyone is safe and having fun
