About The Position

The Application/Infrastructure Lead, sharing in the performance of the team's work, also manages the efficient and effective delivery of IT Services provided by their team to include: IT Service Portfolio with SLEs, Incident/Problem/ Request/Change/Release Management, associated project deliverables and lifecycle management of services/technologies owned by the team. The Lead owns the establishment and maintenance of their team's IT Service Portfolio and associated SLEs. The Lead is responsible for the daily management of the team's incidents, problems, and standard and nonstandard service requests based on established IT Scorecard parameters. The daily management of these workflows and the staff performing the work, is in real time to identify and proactively take action on service based metrics to achieve quality outputs. The Lead partners with IT Project Managers in support of the project intake/assessment process and execution of approved project deliverables as assigned. The Lead manages the lifecycle of the services/technologies their team owns by using industry standard best practices. The lead promotes a culture of teamwork, collaboration, trust, and engagement. We are seeking a Telecom Lead to oversee and modernize critical communication platforms that connect caregivers, patients, and operations across the organization. This role serves as the team lead overseeing Cisco Call Manager, Vocera, paging, digital fax, contact center, and unified communications services. This position has the exciting opportunity to scope and lead IT communications projects.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in information technology, healthcare or related business degree or at least 7 years of related application/technology use within a business or healthcare work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a healthcare related field, using information technology in daily operations.
  • Leadership/work direction experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and expertise of healthcare processes and application system coordination.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of database structure and working practice of reporting techniques and tools.
  • Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, accountability, problem solving, organizational teamwork and customer service methodology.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to make sound decisions, achieve results, motivate others and be adaptable to a changing environment.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
