About The Position

The Lead Antenna Engineer, is responsible for the analysis, design, development, optimization and qualification of reflector and aperture antenna systems. Responsibilities include reflector geometry definition and optimization, feed design and integration, radiation pattern analysis, prediction of gain, sidelobe and cross-polarization performance, link budget support, electromagnetic modeling and simulation using TICRA Tools (GRASP), Ansys HFSS and CST Studio Suite, trade studies, prototype development, and correlation of predicted performance with measured antenna range and chamber data across the full design lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Requires comprehensive knowledge of antenna theory, reflector and aperture antenna design, and applied electromagnetics, along with hands-on proficiency in industry simulation tools including TICRA Tools (GRASP), Ansys HFSS and CST Studio Suite.
Demonstrated experience with feed design, radiation pattern prediction, and antenna measurement and test correlation is required.
May have in-depth knowledge of project management.
Ability to complete up to 10% travel yearly, domestic or international.
The ability to obtain and maintain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship.

Implements strategic goals established by leadership.
