Lead Analyst, Supply Chain Planning

Analog DevicesWilmington, MA
$109,600 - $150,700Onsite

About The Position

Analog Devices is seeking a senior leader in Fab Supply Chain Planning to shape front-end planning strategy, build scalable capabilities, and drive cross-functional execution across our manufacturing network. In this role, you will lead decisions that balance customer commitments, wafer starts, work-in-process, cycle time, capacity, and service performance in a complex semiconductor environment. As the Functional Architect for Order Promiser and Enterprise Supply Planner, you will lead the design of fab-focused planning capabilities across ADI’s front-end manufacturing network, translating business priorities into planning logic, system designs, and decision frameworks that improve factory performance.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing, including front-end wafer fabrication, back-end interdependencies, and the impact of cycle time, yield, and capacity constraints on supply commitments.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale planning system transformations in semiconductor or similarly complex high-mix, high-variability manufacturing environments.
  • Strong experience in fab-focused planning, including capacity planning, wafer start management, work-in-process orchestration, and constraint-based decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of planning system architecture and integration with execution systems in fab environments.
  • Working knowledge of fab operations, front-end manufacturing data flows, and the integration points between planning systems and shop floor execution environments.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced planning platforms such as Blue Yonder or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Analytical, structured problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years in supply chain, planning systems, or transformation roles, including significant experience in semiconductor manufacturing and planning environments.
  • Semiconductor experience is strongly preferred, especially for candidates who have supported fab, front-end manufacturing, wafer start planning, capacity planning, or factory planning in complex global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fab supply chain planning initiatives that improve customer commit performance, forecast accuracy, inventory, capacity utilization, wafer starts, and cycle time.
  • Standardize fab-planning processes, decision rules, and governance across business units, manufacturing sites, and regions.
  • Lead fab-focused planning across front-end manufacturing by balancing wafer starts, work-in-process, cycle time, tool loading, and capacity constraints to support business priorities and factory performance.
  • Serve as the functional architect for advanced planning capabilities across Order Promiser, Enterprise Supply Planner, and related factory planning processes.
  • Own the end-to-end functional design and ensure alignment across planning processes and execution systems.
  • Define and govern fab planning capabilities that connect demand signals to front-end manufacturing execution, including wafer start planning, capacity scenario modeling, and constraint-based prioritization across internal and external fabs.
  • Define planning logic for prioritization, allocation, pegging, capacity modeling, wafer starts, and release strategies.
  • Translate business needs into scalable system configurations and design specifications.
  • Develop planning logic for fab-focused supply chain decisions, including start timing, lot release, bottleneck management, and tradeoff analysis between service, cycle time, and factory loading.
  • Partner with IT and engineering teams to integrate planning capabilities with SAP, MES, and planning platforms such as Blue Yonder.
  • Ensure strong alignment between planning outputs and execution realities across the manufacturing network.
  • Lead change management to support deployment, stakeholder alignment, training, adoption, and post-implementation performance tracking.
  • Drive sustained behavioral and process change across global teams.
  • Define reporting frameworks and dashboards to monitor planning effectiveness, wafer starts, work-in-process health, cycle time, capacity utilization, and constraint risk.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify gaps and continuously improve system performance and decision-making.
  • Mentor analysts and functional leads while building organizational capability in advanced planning systems and supply chain analytics.
  • Lead functional validation, design reviews, and testing oversight to ensure solution integrity and performance.
  • Establish governance around planning logic, data quality, and process adherence.
