About The Position

The Lead Strategic Insights Analyst is a senior individual contributor responsible for the architecture, governance, and advancement of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. This role owns complex, cross-functional analytical initiatives and establishes the technical and functional standards used to create reliable, scalable, and governed reporting products. The Lead Analyst operates as a trusted advisor to business and analytics leaders, translates enterprise priorities into analytical solutions, and provides technical leadership across the Strategic Insights team. The role may lead projects and mentor team members but does not require direct people-management responsibility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, information systems, computer science, business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field is required.
7+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, data modeling, reporting, or strategic insights experience is required; 3+ years of relevant experience may be considered with a related master’s degree.
Experience designing governed semantic models, enterprise reporting architecture, dashboards, reports, data models, or analytical tools is required.
Experience leading complex analytical projects involving multiple functions, data sources, stakeholder groups, or business priorities is required.
Experience mentoring analysts, establishing analytics development standards, and influencing technical or business decisions without direct authority is required.
Expert-level proficiency in SQL, data modeling, semantic modeling, KPI governance, and business intelligence development is required.
Strong technical leadership, enterprise analytical architecture, project leadership, and solution design skills are required.
Strong executive communication, consultation, facilitation, cross-functional collaboration, data storytelling, and knowledge-transfer skills are required.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience in healthcare, multisite operations, or another complex operating environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the enterprise reporting and KPI architecture, including governed dashboards, semantic models, standardized data definitions, calculation logic, reusable analytics components, and approved reporting architecture.
Partner with operational, clinical, financial, and executive stakeholders to clarify reporting needs, translate complex business priorities into analytical requirements, and reinforce consistent interpretation of data.
Design, build, enhance, and redesign complex dashboards, reports, data models, and analytical tools using SQL and enterprise business intelligence platforms, including modernization of duplicative or legacy reporting processes.
Lead high-impact analytical projects from discovery through development, stakeholder validation, deployment, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
Establish and enforce standards for reporting development, documentation, testing, quality assurance, performance, security, lifecycle management, KPI governance, and governed self-service reporting.
Identify gaps in data, reporting processes, dashboard utilization, and analytical capabilities; recommend scalable improvements; and support adoption through consultation, training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Provide technical oversight and subject-matter expertise for SQL, semantic modeling, KPI governance, business intelligence development, data visualization, and analytical product quality.
Develop executive-level analyses and data narratives that convert complex information into clear business implications, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Serve as a senior technical leader by mentoring analysts, strengthening analytical reasoning and stakeholder communication, and advancing consistent methods across the Strategic Insights team.
