About The Position

The Lead Analyst, Strategic Deployment is responsible for providing analytic insight to the organization in support of optimal deployment design and field resourcing. You will be responsible for championing performance metrics and continuous improvement for the Deployment Organization, including Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learned, Process Flow, System Workflow, and Design Improvements. You will utilize mapping software and deployment software to develop new “Go to Market” strategies in support of business initiatives, proactively identify opportunities to optimize territory design and field force structure, and train Strategic Deployment Team members on territory design strategy and modeling capabilities. You will lead cross-functional teams toward process improvement capabilities, manage deployment related data sources and territory mapping software, and develop policy and governance rules supporting field sales structures. Additionally, you will generate management consumable insight from data sources that support strategic decision making, maintain responsibility for the timely resolution of field-based change requests, and develop and administer special projects to improve analytics and field deployment capabilities of the department. This includes preparing presentations and reports to support sales leadership, collaborating with customers and sales personnel to understand business factors influencing optimal deployment designs, summarizing and interpreting key findings, and developing reporting tools that provide actionable data to the field sales organization. You will be responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level and for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. Performs other duties as assigned and needed.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of business experience is required
  • Demonstrated analytical experience and ability to interpret large data sources into business requirements is required
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business impact across different functions is required
  • Ability to plan and execute multiple projects concurrently is required
  • Strict attention to detail and follow-up skills are required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to perform in a team environment are required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Nice To Haves

  • An Advanced (MBA) degree is preferred
  • discipline in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Incentive Compensation or Business Administration preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in Sales Force Optimization (SFO), including deployment, targeting, alignment, and incentive compensation preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Strong Data mining capability, experience with common visual based analytic software technologies (Tableau, Qlik Sense) is preferred
  • Direct experience in field sales force design and/or operation support of a field selling organization is preferred
  • Direct experience with process improvement is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical device terminology is preferred
  • Experience or familiarity with mapping software preferred

Responsibilities
