About The Position

The Lead Analyst works with various parties to create purchase orders and resolve routine problems on automation projects. The role requires working with vendors and contractors and interacting with departments across the company. It supports the RGE and NYSEG Automation department’s purchasing, work orders, storm response, budgeting, customer billing requests, system changes, reporting, and account reconciliations. The position is office-based in Rochester, New York, five days per week, and reports to the Senior Manager - Substation Operations.

Requirements

Associate's degree and at least 3 years of related experience, or a high school diploma/GED and at least 7 years of related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Knowledge of the company's procurement and budgeting terms and conditions.
Familiarity with SAP database systems is required.
Ability to work independently and resolve routine problems on automation projects.

Responsibilities

Use financial systems to create purchase orders and work orders for the RGE and NYSEG Automation department.
Support purchase orders related to storm activation and restoration.
Support monthly and year-end budgeting processes.
Support customer service by handling external and internal customer requests pertaining to billing.
Support implementation of system changes and ensure monthly reporting and account reconciliations are accurate and timely.
Work with vendors, contractors, and departments across the company to resolve routine problems on automation projects.
