About The Position

The Walt Disney Company’s Enterprise Media and Marketing team is seeking a Lead Analyst, Marketing Data Product to join the Performance Marketing arm. This integrated, cross-functional team of marketers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts executes highly data-driven marketing campaigns and tactics. As a Lead Analyst, Marketing Data Product, you will facilitate the delivery of the product roadmap, helping to plan and execute the creation of innovative campaign planning tools, complex data science workflows, and web applications that combine advertising with data-backed insights. The role is embedded within the Disney media team, allowing for fast innovation and the execution of precise paid media strategies using the latest technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as Computer Science or Business Analytics.
  • 7+ years of related work experience in Data Engineering/Analytics, Ad Tech/Media Analytics, or technical Product Management.
  • Advanced expertise with SQL.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Experience with workflow tracking or project management tools such as Airtable.
  • Familiarity with data and software engineering processes and principles.
  • Loose knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of ad platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, Innovid, and DSPs (Google Display Video, The Trade Desk, Yahoo).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation.
  • Experience with Spark and big data processing technologies.
  • Experience building full-stack applications.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product roadmaps for Performance Marketing tools and drive progress towards goals.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and owner for performance marketing datasets.
  • Build and improve data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering.
  • Conduct high-level product and project management, including creating and tracking initiatives, writing and approving technical user stories, and coordinating efforts between groups.
  • Collaborate with software and data engineers to improve existing processes and tools, and create new ones.
  • Innovate and refine the communication of data and insights to the team and stakeholders by simplifying and expanding dashboards and solutions.
  • Facilitate work with UX/UI teams on requirements for wireframes and design elements, and translate functional requirements to software engineers.
  • Leverage AI and LLMs to build prototypes and tools in collaboration with the broader team.
