The Lead Analyst, Data Product & Marketplace Lifecycle is the hands-on operational engine driving user adoption, self-service consumption, and commercial integration for the "MedTech Brain." The Lead Analyst, is responsible for the end-to-end business lifecycle of our data assets within the Alation Data Marketplace framework and is the tactical product owner responsible for deconstructing outbound functional requirements, packaging data into consumer-ready products, leading onboarding workflows, and serving as the daily business counterpart to IT/JJT engineering teams implementing downstream API and marketplace connectivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business systems analysis, functional product management, or technical business analysis within a regulated framework.
  • Sophisticated proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence); direct operational experience demonstrating data catalog marketplaces (specifically Alation Data Marketplace); capability with a validated curiosity about bridging the gap between highly development teams and business consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the management of data products within the Alation Marketplace leading all aspects of onboarding, access workflows, consumer readiness, and lifecycle governance.
  • Directly partner with downstream data scientists, business units, and clinical application teams to deconstruct their data consumption needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Define the business rules for cross-domain data aggregations and calculated metrics, confirming technical Gold-layer models match consumer specifications.
