$105,700 - $149,275Onsite

About The Position

The Lead Analyst, Data Analytics will help build and advance reporting and analytics capabilities supporting Workplace Planning, Stock Plan Participant Services, and other business areas across Workplace and Empower Personal Wealth (EPW). This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who combines strong technical analytics skills with the ability to work directly with business and product partners to understand problems, shape requirements, and develop effective reporting solutions. Many of the products supported by this team are relatively new, creating an opportunity to build reporting, dashboards, data processes, and analytical capabilities from the ground up. Rather than simply executing predefined requirements, this role will take ownership from initial business discussions through data analysis, solution design, development, validation, and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, business, data science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Typically 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to independently write, troubleshoot, and optimize queries against large and complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering, integrating, analyzing, and validating data from multiple disparate sources.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reporting, or business intelligence solutions using tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong experience working directly with business stakeholders to discover requirements, clarify business objectives, and translate needs into analytical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently when requirements are incomplete or evolving and determine the appropriate path forward without highly prescriptive direction.
  • Experience owning analytics or reporting solutions from initial concept and requirements discovery through development, implementation, validation, and delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and consultative skills with the ability to explain data, recommendations, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across business and technology teams while maintaining a hands-on, curious, and solution-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building reporting, dashboards, or analytics capabilities from the ground up.
  • Experience with Amazon Redshift and working with complex enterprise data environments.
  • Experience with Amazon QuickSight; Tableau or Power BI experience is also highly relevant.
  • Experience working with Salesforce data or integrating data from multiple business systems.
  • Experience supporting financial services, workplace financial solutions, wealth management, or related products.
  • Experience developing reporting or analytics used to identify customer opportunities, measure engagement funnels, or evaluate business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguous stakeholder discussions, ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions, and shape solutions when requirements are not fully defined.
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to make recommendations in real time and influence business partners toward the most effective analytical solution.
  • Python or other programming experience that could expand the team’s analytics and automation capabilities.
  • Master’s degree in analytics, statistics, data science, business, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with business and product partners to understand objectives, identify reporting needs, clarify ambiguous requests, and translate business problems into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Lead the design and development of new reporting, dashboards, and analytics for products and business areas where established reporting and processes may not yet exist.
  • Write and troubleshoot complex SQL to gather, integrate, analyze, and validate data from multiple systems and sources, including platforms such as Redshift, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems.
  • Build and enhance dashboards and reporting solutions using business intelligence and visualization tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Evaluate stakeholder requests, ask probing questions, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and recommend the most effective analytical or reporting solution based on the underlying business need.
  • Own analytical initiatives end to end, from requirements discovery and data sourcing through solution design, development, implementation, validation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop reporting and analytics that help business teams identify opportunities within the workplace participant population, support engagement activities, and measure results and business outcomes.
  • Establish scalable reporting processes, data definitions, analytical approaches, and best practices that support newer products as they mature and strengthen overall analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate across business and technology teams to improve data availability, reporting processes, workflows, and automation while balancing priorities across multiple products and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource and primary analytics owner for assigned products or reporting areas, providing recommendations to senior stakeholders and contributing to broader team standards and future capabilities.
