About The Position

As the Lead Analyst, Contracting and Pricing, you will shape and drive the contracting and pricing process for US Surgical Vision through strong cross functional leadership. You will play a critical role in enabling our future contracting and pricing approach, including developing easy-to-use technology solutions and driving adoption throughout the organization. This role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, technology enablement, communication, analytics, and cross functional leadership. This position will report to the Manager, Pricing and collaborate closely with the broader commercial operations, sales and marketing teams of Surgical Vision US.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years total experience including 3 years of progressive experience in Analytics, Strategy Development, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Contracts Compliance or Finance is required.
  • Proven ability to leverage large scale technology solutions to dramatically improve commercial processes at scale is required.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and communication to shape solutions in a complex environment are required.
  • Proven ability to synthesize and interpret data into meaningful recommendations is required.
  • Integration of Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision-making processes is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Med Device and/or healthcare sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading pricing strategy, offer development, and commercial decision making in a matrixed organization is preferred.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills including ability to deliver results with others in complex matrix structure is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an aligned contracting and pricing playbook: Partner within the organization to understand and align rules of engagement across multiple channels and contract types to ensure complete alignment, clarity, and tracking where appropriate to complement the current SOP’s within the contracting team.
  • Shape a common source of the truth enabled by technology: Partner within the contracting and commercial analytics team to deliver a common source of the truth aimed at improving overall efficiency of the contracts and sales team.
  • Develop and Drive Adoption of Process and Tools: Create easy to use tools and processes and then drive adoption throughout the sales organization with appropriate checks and balances.
  • Pricing Committee and Deal Desk: Establish and maintain a proactive and targeted deal desk that partners with sales leadership to shape and influence customer contract and pricing structures to achieve business objectives with a clear handoff to contract operations.
  • Commercial Compliance: Partner with Finance, Legal, and Health Care Compliance to ensure audit readiness, governance integrity, and regulatory compliance.
