The Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) maintains and troubleshoots aircraft systems and is responsible for the quantity and quality of work produced by the work group. This role involves providing personnel work assignments, guiding, mentoring, and training the assigned group in technical information, job procedures, safety, and general shop and hangar practices. The Lead AMT is responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of aircraft, components, and equipment, determining airworthiness in accordance with established procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations. The position requires demonstrating maturity, judgment, and analytical ability to perform all aspects of aircraft maintenance, adhering to Endeavor Air’s Code of Conduct, and maintaining a high focus on customer service and operational awareness. The role involves working at outstations and with various vendors, requiring contact with staff and management. A uniform is required, with a uniform allowance provided by Endeavor, while safety shoes are the employee's responsibility.
