About The Position

The Lead Aircraft Appearance Agent oversees and participates in cleaning and sanitizing aircraft interiors, ensuring compliance with airline and safety regulations. The role coordinates a team, assigns tasks, conducts quality inspections, and helps maintain efficient aircraft turnaround times. It requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), which requires joining the union and paying union dues. Compensation is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in aircraft cabin cleaning or a related field.
Experience supervising cleaning crews.
Familiarity with airline cleaning standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

Supervise and assist with cleaning aircraft cabins, including seats, tray tables, lavatories, and galleys.
Ensure compliance with airline standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
Assign tasks to cabin cleaning agents and monitor performance to maintain efficiency.
Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met before aircraft departure.
Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
Communicate with supervisors and airline representatives about cleaning schedules and special requests.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
