Lead Agent & Analytics Software Engineer II
About The Position
Our Deloitte Regulatory, Risk & Forensic team helps client leaders translate multifaceted risk and an evolving regulatory environment into defensible actions that strengthen, protect, and transform their organization. Join our team and use advanced data, AI, and emerging technologies with industry insights to help clients bring clarity from complexity and accelerate their path to value creation. As a Lead Analytics and Insights Engineer II you will serve as technical lead and agent architect across the team's projects, currently including a multi-agent research platform using LangGraph, FastAPI, and Docker. You will make foundational technical decisions on each effort, stay engaged through implementation and code review, and owns project schedules, phase-gate reviews, and team ceremonies in the absence of a dedicated program manager. You will also be expected to lead architecture across additional builds as the client scope expands.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of progressive experience in software and application development including operating in Agile methodology
- 2+ years of experience contributing to the development of AI Agents or Prompt Engineering
- Active Top Secret security clearance required
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 5 days per week in Fairfax, VA.
- Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
