Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
A minimum of two years of production experience or an equivalent combination of related experience, education, and training.
Basic computer skills, including Excel, email, ERP systems, online training platforms, and file management.
Ability to prepare reports, maintain documentation, analyze basic data, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.

Nice To Haves

Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
Strong math skills, attention to detail, and forklift experience preferred; forklift certification may be required with training provided as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a production team while coordinating daily activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality food production.
Oversee production processes including drying, freezing, wet and dry processing, sifting, grinding, boxing, and packaging operations.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, GMPs, SOPs, PPE requirements, and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) standards while promoting a safe work environment.
Monitor product quality, perform and verify Critical Control Point (CCP) checks, participate in audits, and address quality or handling issues promptly.
Coordinate equipment setup, sanitation activities, production readiness, shift transitions, and scheduled cleaning tasks to support operational goals.
Train, coach, and develop team members, assist with onboarding, communicate updates, and support employee performance and accountability.
