About The Position

Customer facing role responsible for winning business in the Data Centre Market, with the ability to achieve timeliness of objectives and subject to Commercial policy objectives. Has independence in achieving commercial objectives within operating budgets and operating guidelines. The primary responsibility will be Sales in the Data Center vertical, focusing on Data Center projects and selling solutions related to Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers, Power Quality and Power Sensing devices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR (High School Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of direct sales, Channels sales, account or team leadership experience).
  • Additional 5 years of experience in direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time as required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years or more of proven successful sales experience in Data Centre industry, ideally with experience in Electrical equipment Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers.
  • Preferred location in Arizona, Texas, Virginia.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Centre industry trends, market dynamics, and customer requirements, experience working with colocators, hyperscalers and developers.
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation, communication, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, presentation skills with different levels of management, executive, engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership role responsible for the Data Centre segment, driving business growth by managing key client accounts and developing new business opportunities across multiple states.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategy for sale of Grid Solutions Power Transmission business line products and services.
  • Collaborate with region sales managers and cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that address client challenges.
  • Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s).
  • Develop and own, with the support of the regional sales managers, strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of sales teams account strategies.
  • Drive identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
  • Help develop written strategies for pursuing opportunities at Data Centre strategic customer accounts.
  • Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing, and competition to product line marketing.
  • Perform periodic account reviews with management.
