About The Position

The Lead, A&P monitors and accurately completes aircraft paperwork to support safety and timely delivery. The role establishes work priorities and supervises the work of up to 15 mechanics, while ensuring that work meets high quality standards. The position also performs heavy maintenance tasks and aircraft rigging, uses FAA-approved data, and interacts with customer representatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• A&P license.
• Computer keypunch experience.
• Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and barcode equipment.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility regularly.
• Ability to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and accurately complete aircraft paperwork to support safety and timely delivery.
• Establish work priorities and supervise the work of up to 15 mechanics.
• Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
• Perform heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.
• Perform aircraft rigging.
• Use FAA-approved data, including IPC, M M, OHM, and SRM.
• Effectively interact with customer representatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
