About The Position
This is a year-long course (MUS19021 & MUS19022 D) for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027, offering practical initiation to the piano. The course is delivered in person on the Main Campus. The position is limited to a Regular Part-Time Professor. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Requirements
- Master's degree in music (completed or pending) or equivalent in Piano performance.
- Previous experience in teaching piano lessons.
- Competence in both English and French (active).
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching at the university level.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Class Piano I (MUS19021 & MUS19022 D) in person.
- Provide basic piano instruction.
- Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
