About The Position

This is a year-long course (MUS19021 & MUS19022 D) for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027, offering practical initiation to the piano. The course is delivered in person on the Main Campus. The position is limited to a Regular Part-Time Professor. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Requirements

  • Master's degree in music (completed or pending) or equivalent in Piano performance.
  • Previous experience in teaching piano lessons.
  • Competence in both English and French (active).
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience teaching at the university level.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Class Piano I (MUS19021 & MUS19022 D) in person.
  • Provide basic piano instruction.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
