About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day transportation execution by scheduling shipments, coordinating with customers and carriers, and providing real-time visibility through track and trace activities. This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and communication skills to ensure accurate updates and high-quality service for Pepsi Logistics’ customer base.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, systems entry)

• Internship or experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service
• Familiarity with transportation systems or shipment tracking tools

Responsibilities

• Schedule shipments through customer portals, email, and phone
• Enter and manage load details accurately in internal systems
• Coordinate with customers and carriers to confirm pickup and delivery details
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of daily shipping activities
• Monitor shipments and track real-time freight and truck locations
• Proactively follow up on loads requiring updates or at risk of delay
• Provide accurate and timely status updates to customers and internal teams
• Escalate issues as needed to ensure service continuity
• Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day shipment communication
• Respond to customer and carrier inquiries via phone and email
• Maintain professional and timely communication to support service expectations
• Maintain accurate shipment data across systems and customer platforms
• Update load statuses, notes, and milestones consistently
• Support adherence to standard processes and documentation requirements
• Assist with issue resolution and exception management
• Support team in meeting daily service and performance goals
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps
