About The Position
NEW $1500 Sign on Bonus. Get Paid On Time. Every Time. This position runs 5 to 7 days out and averages 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month. Running Canada/U.S. long-haul Open-Board and Canada LCV lanes when freight is available Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories Resets on the road as required 24 days on the road per month Might be asked to cover scheduled runs as Operationally needed for a period of time up to 4 weeks Regional freight will be required Flexible schedule, all shifts include working Saturday and Sunday Turnpike pay-package applies Bison Transport is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Requirements
- Experienced Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor trailer experience
- Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
- Bunk Truck will be required
- Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
- Must have a minimum of 6-months verifiable LCV experience including operating during winter conditions
- Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
- Must be able to drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year
- Must be able to drive U.S. Mountains 12 months a year
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Are you registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?
Nice To Haves
- BC Mountain experience is preferred
