About The Position

This position runs open board Canada/U.S. long-haul and Canada LCV lanes when freight is available. Required to be on the road 7 to 10 days at a time averaging 20,000 miles per month. Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states. Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories. Required to drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year and U.S. Mountains 12 months a year. Requires 24 days on the road per month, with resets on the road as required. Hours and days of work might change from time to time according to operational demand. Regional freight will be required, and the candidate must be able to haul all commodities.

Requirements

Owner-Operator Team with 24 months tractor trailer driving experience.
Must have a Bunk Truck.
Tractors must be equipped with a DEF system.
Minimum of 6-months verifiable LCV experience including operating during winter conditions.
Minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience.
Minimum of 6 months Highway 17 experience.
Reefer experience is required.
Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license.
Reliable, flexible, and punctual.
Strong communication skills.
Values safety.
Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities
