About The Position

This position is for an experienced Owner-Operator running LCV open board and Canada/US long-haul. The role requires 5 to 7 days out with an average of 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month. Southbound freight can go to any of the lower 48 states. Resets are done on the road as required, with drivers typically out for 24 days per month. There may be a need to cover scheduled runs for up to 4 weeks. Regional freight and a flexible schedule are also part of this role, with all shifts including weekend work. A Turnpike pay-package applies.

Requirements

• Experienced Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor trailer experience.
• Valid Class 1/AZ license.
• Bunk Truck required.
• Eligible to drive in the U.S.
• Minimum of 6-months verifiable LCV experience, including operating during winter conditions.
• Must be registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

• BC Mountain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run LCV open board and Canada/US long-haul.
• Operate southbound freight into any of the lower 48 states.
• Complete resets on the road as required.
• Be out on the road for up to 24 days per month.
• Cover scheduled runs as operationally needed for up to 4 weeks.
• Handle regional freight.
• Work all shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.
• Drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year.
• Drive U.S. Mountains 12 months a year.
• Lift 50 lbs. or more.
