LCV Qualified Cross Border Long Haul Owner-Operator
About The Position
This position is for an experienced Owner-Operator running LCV open board and Canada/US long-haul. The role requires 5 to 7 days out with an average of 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month. Southbound freight can depart into any of the lower 48 states. Resets will be done on the road as required, with 24 days on the road per month. There may be instances where the operator is asked to cover scheduled runs for up to 4 weeks as operationally needed. Regional freight will also be required. The schedule is flexible and includes working Saturdays and Sundays. A Turnpike pay-package applies.
Requirements
- Experienced Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor trailer experience.
- Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license.
- Bunk Truck will be required.
- Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
- Minimum of 6-months verifiable LCV experience including operating during winter conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Must be registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Nice To Haves
- BC Mountain experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Run LCV open board and Canada/US long-haul.
- Operate southbound freight into any of the lower 48 states.

- Handle regional freight.
- Haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.
- Drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year.
- Drive U.S. Mountains 12 months a year.
