About The Position

This position is for an experienced Owner-Operator running LCV open board and Canada/US long-haul routes. The role requires 10 to 14 days out with an average of 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month. Southbound freight can go to any of the lower 48 states. Resets are done on the road as required, with 24 days on the road per month. There may be a requirement to cover scheduled runs for up to 4 weeks as operationally needed, and regional freight will also be required. The schedule is flexible and includes working Saturdays and Sundays. A Turnpike pay-package applies.

Requirements

• 24 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid Class 1/AZ license.
• Bunk Truck required.
• Eligible to drive in the U.S.
• Minimum of 6-months verifiable LCV experience, including operating during winter conditions.
• Must be registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

• BC Mountain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run LCV open board and Canada/US long-haul routes.
• Operate southbound freight into any of the lower 48 states.
• Perform resets on the road as required.
• Cover scheduled runs for up to 4 weeks as operationally needed.
• Handle regional freight.
• Work all shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.
• Drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year.
• Drive U.S. Mountains 12 months a year.
• Lift 50 lbs. or more.
